The Growing Coaches platform aims to match and connect student coaches and businesses who are looking to develop their employees.
The Growing Coaches approached Inktrap with an idea, looking to create a brand and launch a platform for it. Our agency was chosen because of our experience working with startups and scaleups, working with companies who need a helping hand to get off the ground.
What we did
Branding, UX/UI design, front-end development, back-end development
The project was split into two parts, the first being a two-week sprint that focused on the design of the platform and the look and feel of the brand. The second was the build of the platform.
Over the course of the project we worked closely with The Growing Coaches and their users to ensure that what we were designing not only aligned with their vision but also worked for the coaches and coachees. We did this through UX workshops, user interviews, calls and meetups.
Over the course of the 3-month project, we had successfully run UX workshops with The Growing Coaches team. We also ran user testing sessions to ensure our prototypes worked for our intended users. Through testing we were then able to iterate and improve on the product, creating a development-ready UI mockup.
These developer hand off files also included responsive product design, which meant our build catered perfectly to multiple device sizes. Ultimately we created a cohesive brand that told the story of The Growing Coaches.
Utilizing sprints allow us to get the MVP launched as quickly as possible so that The Growing Coaches could start onboarding cohorts and businesses to the platform. With this approach, it gives us two things, time and insight. Time to work with The Growing Coaches to implement new features, and more insight in knowing what features our real-life users want and need.
We continue our relationship with The Growing Coaches on a retainer basis and can't wait to see what the platform becomes!
